David Bowie talks about Bugs Bunny …
This is my piece that got auctioned off last night at the Chuck Jones Gallery. I’m glad that so many people enjoyed it! I had a ton of fun working on it as well.
It’s entirely paper with a bit of paint for some of the details. It’s completely flat too. I hope the new owner enjoys it!

Mad as a Mars Hare
What I really love about Bugs Bunny and probably one of the reasons he’s one of America’s favorite characters is that he is full of character and one of the keys to his character are his great poses, like the poses above(drawn by the great Chuck Jones). He’s an all around greatly executed cartoon. He walks and talks a certain way, he’s his own person. He’s believable. And that’s one of the most important things to have in any character is an interesting personality that is memorable and a character that is visually believable.
The Best of Bugs.
